It is famous for its beautiful and thick rainforest, hidden waterfalls and good old Malgudi Days house.We will also love to take you to the Kodi beach in Udupi for Dolphin sightseeing and beautiful sunset in evening. This place is a must-visit if you love nature, beautiful streams, hiking and some jaw-dropping waterfalls which unarguably is the best in South India.

It is the best place for trekking and photography in India. India’s first automatic weather station is located in Agumbe as well as the Agumbe rainforest research station by Romulus Whitaker.

Itinerary –

a) Day 0 – Bangalore to Agumbe (7-8 hours) journey, will start on a Friday evening after you are done for the day, Mini Bus/Traveler depending on the number of people will start after 9 pm and will have multiple picks up points. Will stop for Snacks and tea around mid-night after which it will be non-stop journey. There will be games and engagement sessions on the bus to know your fellow travelers better.

 Day 1 – Will reach the homestay at Agumbe, where we will freshen up and have some awesome breakfast , We will leave after breakfast to Jogi gundi falls which involves hiking . As Agumbe is also known as “Cheerapunji of South India”, expect light showers during the day. You will be in the cradle of beautiful plants, trees, birds and amazing nature. We will spend  total of 2.5 hours, there is an amazing opportunity to take breathtaking videos and photos over there.

After spending some quality time, we will head for lunch at a nearby hotel which is famous for some licious meals. Post Lunch we will relax for a while and head to Kundadri hills” /sunset Point.

After Sunset, we will head back to the Homestay, Where we will have snacks, tea/Coffee and Bon-fire. Later we will be served hot piping Malanad cuisine (Veg/Non-Veg). It will be advisable to carry your own Music playlist. Have a good night’s sleep.

Day 2 – Wake up and get ready for another fun sightseeing. Go enjoy the visit to Malgudi house and if you are a 90’s kid, it would remind you of your childhood days. We will check in to cottage near Kodi beach in Udupi and enjoy the beautiful shore, enjoy the water and relax and watch sunset and start back.

Day 2: Get ready to watch Dolphins today and wake up early and go at 7 AM boat ride to spot Dolphins. Come back and have breakfast and get ready to check out and start your journey back to bangalore

• Our facilities are very basic without any luxury
• Rooms will be on shared bases. On request, couple rooms can be provided

• “Block my seat” charges are non-refundable, balance amount needs to be cleared within 7 days of blocking date.
• 50% refund before 2 weeks of the trip
• 30% refund before 1 week of the trip
• 10% refund before 2 days of the trip

Terms & Conditions

• No alcohol & smoking during Treks & adventure activities. There would be separate window and space (usually at night) to have these at campsite/homestay for interested people.
• No Luxury. We assure awesome memories every trip, but not awesome facilities! We provide basic facilities in terms of food, travel & accommodation.
• The itinerary is fixed. No special requests to change itinerary/schedule are permitted..
• Absolutely No littering during our travels. We swear to protect our environment.
• Co-operate with the organizer(s) in following the schedule set for the day (especially getting up and getting ready in the morning). This will ensure travellers won’t miss out on the real fun part – that is traveling.
  • Every traveller is responsible for his/her for your own safety while traveling with Banjara and Gypsy. Don’t indulge in any illegal or silly activity that causes harm to you or fellow travellers.
• Every traveller is expected to sign a liability/waiver form given by the organizer(s) after boarding the vehicle that discharges Banjara and Gypsy of any unexpected incident like injury/death/theft etc.
• Unexpected situations: It may happen we do not cover all the places mentioned in the itinerary because of unpredictable reasons like bad weather, wild animal presence, abrupt blocking of sites by the police/forest department, delay in travel because of an issue with our group itself, traffic conditions etc. In most cases, if the time permits, organizer(s) will take travellers to an alternative place. But in some cases, we may have to skip a place altogether.
• Travellers are expected to respect each other and help each other. Avoid discussing sensitive matters like sex, politics and religion/caste/race.
  Using foul or abusive language, eve teasing, arguing with fellow travellers/organizer(s) and/or involving in physical assault will not be accepted and will stand a chance of being deserted by Banjara and Gypsy
